Class Description
All classes are small which enables the teacher to give personal compassionate instruction for each individual. The goal is to develop each student’s inner awareness. Classes are physically energizing, yet deeply relaxing. Suitable for all ages and ability.
Which class is for me?
Before placement in these ongoing levels of instruction, this should be discussed with the teacher so that the student can be placed in the correct level of class which will be the most beneficial and appropriate to the student’s needs.
Levels 1,2,3:
Level 1: Introduction – Beginner
Level 2: Beginner – Intermediate
Level 3: Intermediate – Advanced
Restorative:
This calls for the person who should start yoga in a gradual way. For example; after suffering from a health issue or to diminish stress levels.
The rhythm of this class respects all of the qualities of alignment and precision from the BKS Iyengar tradition.
This class is going to help you feel better through having a better connection with your body.The practice of this class will help you feel very deep relaxation and at the same time increase your vital energy. Asanas are adapted using studio props.
Pranayama:
The Pranayama practice is the study of breath awareness.
Yoga kurunta / wall ropes:
In yoga kurunta, the wall ropes help students to be aware of their alignment and help to open other parts of the body.
Workshops:
Different workshops are offered on a regular basis usually during a weekend and will be posted below the class schedule. Please note that the availability of space is given on a priority basis to students already registered with the studio.
